The only reason I ask is because I shoot lots of pictures when I go out on a shoot. When my 6D gets to that point, if it breaks due to maximum actuations achieved, would it be cheaper to get a new camera or replace the part needed? Generally speaking, when I get to around 100,000 actuations, what part of the camera breaks down? Is it the mirror that begins to not function when you get to around that number of shutter actuations? I'm not saying the camera won't last longer, but generally speaking. ![]() Online, it says that the average 6D will last 100,000 shutter actuations.
